shout out to animal collective helped me decipher what was right when i was a sophomore in highschool. thanks guys.
everyone is doing great and graduating college with degrees and shit while im working part time at my favorite ice cream shop in town scoopin’ all kinds of yummy ice cream and sneaking bites and toasting marshmallow fluff.
all the while living in a sunny surfer beach town full of wacky people and best friends. life is swell, though sometimes confusing.
and sometimes its so hard to see through my sadness, but its definitely mostly beautiful outside of my tear-y periphery.
in conclusion: college life was never for me, and i’m convinced it never will be. and even when i am too sad to appreciate life to the fullest, thats okay tooo cause being sad means being happy means being human.
so it goes!

next time i see him on the street, im going to highfive him for being awesome.
